WelcomeHome Fires Players is a Theatre Arts Company in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. We offer to both Military and Civilian families a way of supporting each other and our deployed Canadian Forces troops serving at home and abroad. Our Mission"Keeping the Home Fires Burning" by offering a variety of opportunities for people to form strong community ties with one another, while producing contemporary theatrical works that benefit the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). Theatre Company ProfileWe have positions available for people with theatrical performance experience, as well as those wanting to learn more about theatre arts in the areas of acting, directing, stage management and script writing. Our production schedule includes rehearsals and social gatherings that foster supportive relationships to include people and families of all ages. The vision promotes creative and innovative ways to express the emotional impact of military life and offers our returning troops the gift of a live performance on stage produced by families and friends.
